Usocial – More proof social networking is here to stay.

Social networking is the hottest thing going, perhaps for a long time to come. I guess it sould not have surprised me that you can now buy twitter followers and facebook friends. But http://www.usocial.net/ did take me back just a bit. I don’t think it’s the idea as much as the price. $87 for 1000 followers? Ouch. It’s not that hard to get them. Anyway, i’m sure this is something that will become very competitive. Just doing a little research, I found someone on ebay who will send 2 tweets a week for 1 month to 25600 followers for 6 bucks. Now that’s more like it.  I’m not going to tell the ebay guy this, but he could make more than that from revtwt. It sure is fun to wath things like this develop.

Hey,Useful post, although i’m more intrigued in what will take place out of the google vs facebook social network war. I haven’t discovered much news on it lately, which perhaps suggests that it’s definitely not that far off, but i’ve got a idea its going to really mean many great changes to social networks. In my opinion, i would prefer facebook came out of the war still in the lead simply because google’s already big enough, plus they already hold a lot of data on most people. I don’t believe that both will be able to exist though, either google’s social network will take over or completely fail. What does anybody else feel?
